Our Journey
Buffalo Theory Brewing Co. has been a long and rewarding journey for the founders Scott & Kim Newcomb. We are excited to bring our passion for brewing to a tap room in Merritt Island FL. Creating a community for beer enthusiasts to gather together to enjoy and celebrate craft beer and each other. Brewing since 1992, perfecting recipes and sharing our creations with family and friends has pushed us forward in this venture.
Since 2012, Buffalo Theory Brewing Co. has been committed to producing authentic and unique beers that push the boundaries of regular brewing styles and categories. We’re proud to serve our customers with only the best, continually crafting each taste until it’s exactly right and to style.

THE BUFFALO THEORY
Well, you see, it’s like this. A herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo. And when the herd is hunted, it’s the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first. This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members.
In much the same way, the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells. Now, as we know, excessive intake of alcohol kills brain cells. But naturally, it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine.
And that is why you always feel smarter after a few beers!!

Join us Saturday Evening November 11, 2023 from 5:30-9:30 pm in old Melbourne under the US1 bridge as we pour our beer for all of you to try.

Join us on Saturday November 18th from 1-5 pm atField Manor in our home city of Merritt Island FL for a fundraising event for Field Manor.

Cocoa Village Brewers Bash - Cocoa Village FL
Come join us as well as many other Florida breweries on Saturday February 3rd, 2024 from 1-5 pm at Cocoa Village Riverfront Park. Always a great time had by all!
